I just purchased a new Samsung Q8F. I plugged in all of my HDMI cables and all of the devices show up except for the Xfinity cable box. I went and got new HDMI cables and a new Xfinity cable box. I even tried the other HDMI ports. All I get is the on screen message to check device power. When I push the channel button from my Samsung remote, the cable box displays a green light indicating that it received the signal.

Hi there, Thanks so much for reaching out about this. Just to confirm, have you checked the power cord and outlet for the cable box? Also, do you have another TV you could test the cable box on to make sure it is working properly? Lastly, have you checked the TV for any software updates?
