The return button on my remote no longer flips between 2 channels. It keeps opening the home screen for Samsung. This is extremely irritating. I already have a Samsung TV button on the remote, why do I need another? I typically watch 2 shows at once and now I have to go into the guide to get from on to the other as it does not accept the Samsung TV channel number, only over the air numbers to get to by typing in.

Yes I have 3 Samsung Frame TV's and the return button when in Samsung channels it does not go to the last channel if goes to a Samsung TV Home Screen.  7 Years owning multiple Samsung Frame TV's after the last firmware update the return button on all TV's does not go to the last channel. So frustrating.

It appears to be a software update across Samsung TVs.  It has affected my QN49Q6FNA TV as well (remote is RMCSPN1AP1).  I suspect it is something within the smart hub perhaps, because when I FIRST turn the TV on, the "previous channel" function works for a few seconds.  But once everything is booted up, then the return button resorts to the TV Plus menu.

Very frustrating.  Hopefully Samsung addresses this soon, perhaps with a switch to change the function of the return button.  It if cannot be switched, then please make the return button go back to the previous channel function!

ETA:  When using LIVE TV AIR, as opposed to Samsung TV Plus, the return button works as always.  But once I switch to STVP, the button functionality changes.

Still no fix from Samsung on this annoying issue from the last update to Samsung TV Plus menu behavior?

Pull up the channel guide, not the home page but the channel guide, then push the return button three times in a row  without pausing. practice the timing to get it right.  it works and seems to be the fastest way to your last channel.
