My 77" s90f has been going to screensaver constantly during google cast since the tv updated 2 days ago. Worked flawlessly everytime casting everyday since new until after I got an update completed message on screen 2 days ago. Now it goes to screensaver while streaming and I have keep pressing the remote button to get out of screensaver. Please roll back the latest update!!!

- Have you ensured the Screensaver settings are disabled? - Restart "casting" devices = Unplug the tv from the outlet for a few minutes, restart casting device as well. - Ensure screen mirroring features/settings are enabled correctly After exploring all possible options and still no fix, you could factory reset the TV.
Phone restarted. Screen mirroring works fine but you cannot use your phone while mirroring... casting is better as you can still use your phone while casting.
Factory reset on tv does not roll back firmware updates... once applied firmware is permanent until next version is released.
I could buy a chromecast and cast to it as it is hooked to hdmi but man I dropped alot of $ on a tv with google cast!
I will try casting from different devices and different apps tonight to rule out any issue with my s22...
I see so many people with this problem. ITS ANNOYING. But I don't see any real fixes besides the restart everything suggestions that have been around since computers began.
Screensaver kicks in when casting from any of my 3 Samsung devices.
Just to report with frustration same thing on a <1 month old S93F. Worked correctly for the first week or so, and then this.
Does anyone know if this is reported to the correct channel? This is just a forum, is it the right place?

It is absolutely shocking that they would allow a critical feature-breaking update like this through without any quality control. Expect a rapid fix otherwise I expect a massive swell of 1* reviews for these broken "flagship" products.
Would love a workaround, currently don't see anything except an external input.
I'm having this issue too, and like you it's right after the update. Screensaver comes on when casting. Not just when there's a still image. I'll be watching a movie or casting sports and BAM.. screensaver comes on without fail every few minutes. Tried unplugging and replugging the TV, still the same behavior. Please fix this Samsung. It makes casting impossible to use. Wont recommend this tv to anyone until this is fixed.
Il having this issue on s95f OLED. Casting works from the iPhone, but it has this problem (screen saver appears after about 2 min that I cast) with both my android phones casting to the TV.
It was working totally fine since I have the TV! I just started to have this problem recently
