I have an older Samsung tv (sorry I cannot access the model number but its 1080 and likely 10 years old). All of a sudden it started constant power cycling. If I use the Samsung remote, there’s a likelihood the tv will power off and on until I unplug it. If I use the AppleTV remote same result. The other day I decided to change the volume but using the button on the tv…happens that way also. Essentially anyway of changing anything cause the tv to power off then back on/off/on etc.
I’ve looked up how to reset the remote but again this happens when pressing buttons on the tv too (as well as third party remotes).
Any ideas what this could be?

LED and OLED TVsHello! Thank you for reaching out! I would recommend trying the troubleshooting if possible in the following link: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshoot/TSG10002365/. If this doesn't help, then service would be the only option. As your TV is out of warranty, you can use the link below to find a service center in your area.
