I just bought my 43U8000F TV and now I find that there is no Setting for "Last App".  I also have no cable TV and only want to stream off the Internet, but I still get Antenna Disconnect errors also on start up.

I ran the latest update in software but no change. 3-3-2026

Hi and Welcome to the Community, StreamToME736! We certainly understand that you're using the TV to stream not receive channels over the air, and we want to help you set up the TV so it works best for you.

We looked up some information based on the model information you provided.

To have the TV start with the app you used the last time you ran the TV, you may need to adjust the Autorun Last App setting.

To get there, Press the Home button on your Samsung TV remote. Use the Left direction button to go to Settings > All Settings >Advanced Features > Start Screen Option > Autorun Last App. Toggle this to On.
If this function is not available, then it may not be supported by your model or the app being used.

There is more information in the user manual for configuring the start screen.  The page numbers this info starts on is on page 132 and 133 in the link below.

If the error message still comes up after changing the AutoRun Last app, here are a couple other things to look at with the TV:
* check that the software is up to date
* please make sure nothing is plugged in via Coax cable (if not using cable or an antenna, this port should be empty).
* Unplug TV for at least 60 seconds

If the same error message comes back, please provide a photo of the message you're receiving.

Please let us know if this helps.

Sorry but the "Autorun Last App" is not an option on the menu. The software is up-to-date and is now using version 1221.

I guess I'll have to return the TV and buy a different brand that supports the "Autorun Last App" feature.
