LED and OLED TVsI desperately need some help here.
My PS4 gets connected to the Samsung TV but does not show any display. There is clear Audio in the background that suggests that the PS4 is switched on, but it doesnt go any further.
I tried changing my HDMI cables, toggled the Game Mode settings, but it doesnt work.
I also tried to get into the safe mode, but it doesnt show anything on the screen after the system enters the safe mode.
But this PS4 works clearly when it is connected to my older 32inch MI TV- suggesting that PS4 is working fine.
Any help on this will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Ashish

LED and OLED TVsI just wanted to confirm if the PS4 is the only device you have issues with. Are you able to test any other device on the TV? If its still not working, service would be the only other solution. Depending on your warranty, you will have a few options.
- If your unit was recently purchased, you can check with your retailer on their return/exchange processes.
- If you have an extended warranty you can reach out to them to have service set up.
- If you're within the one year warranty, you can Private message me or one of our moderators or you can call in directly at 1-800- 726-7864 with your full model and serial number to have service setup
- If you're OUT of warranty, you can use this link below to find a service center in your area.

LED and OLED TVsHi there, that does sound frustrating. First, have you checked any other devices on the TV to see if they work? Also, do you receive any error messages on the screen, or is it just black? Another suggestion would be to test the other HDMI ports on the TV. It's also always a good idea to keep the software updated. Here's a link to help with that:

Please let us know if this helps.

LED and OLED TVsThanks for your response.
Yeah, I have changed HDMI ports, used various versions of HDMI 1.4, 1.5, 2.0 and 2.1.
The TV is able to recognize the PS4, but it doesn't show anything further. Most of the times, it shows a black screen and a few times it shows that the device is disconnected.
Getting into Safe mode on PS4, a notification on TV shows that the resolution is reduced but doesn't show any further display.
Also, the Software is updated to the latest version. I also did a factory reset on the TV, but it didn't help. I called a Samsung technician yesterday and he too failed at it. It is really frustrating.
