LED and OLED TVsI am looking at purchasing the Samsung OLED TV S95F-55", and also will subscribe to YouTube TV from Frontier. I presently have a dumb TV, an old Panasonic plasma which will be sunset, an Onkyo TX-NR646 receiver with 5.1 speakers, a BluRay Player, and a cable set top box.
Questions about connections:
(1) For the One Connect Box, do I connect the Ethernet to the One Connect Box? or to the Receiver? ... or does it matter?
(2) Does the TV signal from YouTube TV come in from the Ethernet connection? Will the audio, now 5.1, remain as-is with the receiver, and nothing needs to be done with the audio wires?
(3) Do I connect the HDMI from the One Connect Box to the Receiver's Strm Box HDMI...and which way does the audio/video signal travel?...to? or from? the One Connect Box?
(4) Does the One Connect Box have an IR reception?... since I have a Logitech Harmony 650 Universal Remote, which sends signal via IR.
(5) Does the current set top box from Frontier get sunset?

Yes the Ethernet cable will run from your Router into the back of the One Connect Box or you can use wifi if you prefer to connect with wifi instead of wired.
(2) Does the TV signal from YouTube TV come in from the Ethernet connection? Will the audio, now 5.1, remain as-is with the receiver, and nothing needs to be done with the audio wires?
When we had Youtube TV all we had to do was Download the Youtube TV app to the TV and everything ran from the TV so the Audio should be what the show is produced in
(3) Do I connect the HDMI from the One Connect Box to the Receiver's Strm Box HDMI...and which way does the audio/video signal travel?...to? or from? the One Connect Box?
Not sure what you mean with STRM BOX
(4) Does the One Connect Box have an IR reception?... since I have a Logitech Harmony 650 Universal Remote, which sends signal via IR.
No the One Connect Box doesn't have a IR sensor the sensor is normally located on the TV itself.
(5) Does the current set top box from Frontier get sunset?
Not sure since we didn't get a Frontier Box all we got from Frontier was the ONT that the Fiber Plugs into and then a Ethernet cable runs from the ONT to the Router then a Ethernet cable ran to the TV so its ONT - Router - TV

LED and OLED TVsHello GaryB82. Thanks for your responses.
Regarding item (2) : I would like to continue using the receiver along with the 5.1 speakers. Will all the wiring from the receiver to the speakers stay as-is?
Regarding item (3) : Strm Box is a push button on the receiver with a corresponding HDMI port on the rear...I believe it is short for Stream Box, which I assume means the One Connect Box. So, does the HDMI get hooked up from the One Connect Box to the Receiver? ... and which way does the signal flow?
Regarding item (4) : You indicated that the One Connect Box does not have IR, but the IR is on the TV itself. Can I still use the Universal Remote to control the TV, the One Connect Box, and the receiver?

I'm taking a guess that the wiring should stay the same. I don't use a receiver I stream everything to a sound bar. But I'm guess it would the receiver would plug into the one connect box

If your going with Youtube TV you shouldn't need that box just download the Youtube TV app to the TV itself and you should be good.
SIgnal Flow should be going One Connect to TV
Regarding item (4) : You indicated that the One Connect Box does not have IR, but the IR is on the TV itself. Can I still use the Universal Remote to control the TV, the One Connect Box, and the receiver?
Yes you should be able to use a Universal Remote to control the TV

LED and OLED TVs@BobbyLy We dropped Frontier TV a few years ago after trying out YouTube TV for a few months. We still use Frontier internet since we have fiber to the house.
We don't have YouTube TV through Frontier. We just use the YouTube TV via the app on the TV.
We don't have an Ethernet connection to the TV. The TV just uses the Wifi connection.
AFAIK, you won't every use the Frontier set top box again. They will just tell you to dispose of it however you want.

LED and OLED TVs@LongHiker In my opinion a wired connection is best I prefer to have everything that's not moveable be wired instead of Wifi

LED and OLED TVsTrue if you have to add a ethernet drop in that location WIfi will work but if you already have a Ethernet cable in that location wired is best

LED and OLED TVsI see that the S95F has a little bump at the bottom right of the screen, which I think it the IR port to receive IR signals from the universal remote. Is that correct? So, would this bump send the remote IR signals from the TC to the One Connect Box, thru the One Connect cable? ... thus allowing the Universal Remote to run the One Connect box, for things like ON-OFF, volume, change channels, etc?
