My Samsung washer door was locked and the front panel was dark. Pressing the power button had no effect. Tried to recycle the power using a circuit breaker since the back of my washer is extremely difficult to access due to its location. I heard a ping when the power was turned on but the front panel was still dark after retrying the power button. I attempted to find a "manual override" lever to open the door on my washer but there was no such lever on my machine. I contacted Samsung who told me to try a different outlet. I moved the dryer out so I could access the plug to the washer - turns out the power plug was not plugged in all the way. I pushed it in, washer turned on and finished its cycle.
