Just bought the Samsung SmartActiveJet, etc etc top loading washer. Had it about two months and it’s driving me crazy because any wash I put on, it looks like there’s enough water to just soak the clothes, no suds and barely gyrating. So, I feel like the clothes sit there in a soaked pile and barely move around. I make sure the water level is high, soil level high, etc. I’ve even done a small wash with the water level on high. Does anyone else have this issue.

Hi, that is how it is, was very frustrating for me also when I got my Samsung washer going 6 years now with it..... I don't know how all I know is that the clothes come out clean..... I guess its the efficiency of saving water etc. God bless!

LaundryMy guess is it has a water and electricity saving feature - that's why it's called Smart Jet. It likely uses just enough water for the load, and has a gentler agitation action. Contrary to the old belief most loads of laundry do not need an excess amount of water or constant, aggressive agitation. Are your clothes coming out clean regardless? If not, there may be a kink in the water line, but that would only affect water flow, not the agitation action. Perhaps the agitator's motor is defective. I suggest reading the manual to see if this is all normal behavior. Many newer washers do not behave the same way as older ones, so it may just be that this is not what you were expecting. If your clothes are not getting clean, I'd suggest a call to service while your warranty is still in effect.

It's the fact it don't spin all the water out causing it to throw off the water to weight formula.

LaundryHi Still1964, thank you for reaching out to Community. We appreciate your question about the water levels.
Samsung washing machines use various technologies to minimize how much water is used. Automatic temperature control also reduces how much hot water is used by mixing in cold water as much as possible. In addition, Samsung washing machines are high efficiency (HE) and use significantly less water than previous generations while still getting your clothes clean. If water isn't entering your washing machine, it will typically display an error code. Have you received any error codes.
