Legacy S PhonesAndroid 15 has it, why don't we? It sounds like a great feature. It's really annoying hearing my phone beep and beep again and again when I'm playing on my PC when I know for a fact it's nothing important(usually group chat chatting). Please Dev Team

Legacy S PhonesIf Android 15 has it and you have the update, then you must have it too. Are you getting repeats of the same notification or just different notifications from everyone answering in a group chat? You can change the notification sound for a particular chat to "silent", so you don't have to hear it. You can put on do not disturb. You can turn off sound and vibration for individual apps - you will still see your notifications, but you won't hear them. If you want to see that you have notifications, but not hear them, turn the notification volume to "off". You will still get notifications, but you won't hear them. So, there really is no need for an extra feature, when these features already exist.

Legacy S PhonesSome people I message with tend to write many small messages instead of one long one. I don't want to change people's habit just for me.
Also some apps are pretty spammy with notifications, it'd be nice to throttle them a bit without silencing or turning off notifications on them.

Legacy S PhonesIt may be an Android feature exclusive to Google phones. I don't know. If it is part of Android 16, and NOT on the Galaxy phones, then it may very well be reserved for Google.

Legacy S Phonesanother option/idea is a 1 min delay of txt notifications. just delay sound alert of txt notification by 1 min & only make sound alert once after that 1 min, even if multiple txt received during that 1 min time period. Either of these simple options would be very much appreciated. Thank you

Legacy S PhonesIt would be great to, at least, have a richer 'Modes and routines' way to deal with this.
A friend of mine tends to send 20 messages in a row when he could've sent the whole idea in just one paragraph.
I love him, but when he does that, it makes my blood boil; and it conjures evil thoughts of pain and suffering that I'd rather not have, since it brings me closer to the dark side of the Force.
If I could only add a routine like:
"If: This specific person sends a message."
"If: This specific person is not muted already."
"Then: Set HIS notifications to 'muted' for 5 minutes."
"After the routine is done: Unmute him again until his next message is received."
It would be awesome.
I know I could just set my phone to 'Do not disturb' whenever he sent a message; but I don't want to miss on EVERY notification every time I chat with him.
The 'Modes and Routines' app has the potential to be amazingly powerful.
