Hello everyoneโบ๏ธ so my dad is trying to open his Samsung account but he forgot his password but the problem is that the phone number has to be changed also and it doesn't let me use the email to change the password because I also need the phone number and as I said, needs to be changed. Can someone help? I hope everyone understood what I wanted to say.

Legacy S PhonesGo to the Samsung SmartThings Find website on a computer.
If the device is listed and active, you might be able to bypass certain lock screens or access account settings from there.
3. Account Recovery Request
If you don't have backup codes or a second trusted device, you have to go through Samsung's manual recovery:
Go to the Samsung Login Page.
Click "Find ID or Reset password".
When it asks for the phone number verification, look for an option that says "Did you get a new phone number?" or "Verify another way".
This will usually prompt a manual review where you may need to provide details like the device's IMEI number, date of birth, or credit card info (if he ever made a purchase on the Galaxy Store).

Legacy S PhonesUnless you have reset the device, the account should still be associated and you should be able to get in and make any necessary changes this way.
Worst case scenario, he can contact support and verify his personal info. They may be able to help your dad regain access to his account. IIRC, support unlocked accounts have a 2 week waiting period to regain access as a security measure.
