Missing microphone

Samsung 35 (whatever phone).

I've tried every solution offered to get my microphone back on keyboard.  Please help.

Phone settings
General Management
Keyboard list and default
Toggle on show keyboard button on navigation bar
Now you should see a microphone or keyboard icon in the bottom left corner of your screen if its the keyboard icon long press it and select voice input

Go to Settings
General Management
Samsung Keyboard settings
Swipe, touch, and feedback
Touch and hold spacebar
Change the setting to Voice Input
Now you can activate voice input by long-pressing the spacebar.

If you want the microphone actually on the keyboard, switch to Google keyboard or Swiftkey.

Download GBoard. It's Google's keyboard and way better than Samsung's.
