Legacy S Phoneshello, I've been fighting with my weather app to display the right location for the past couple days, I have an s10+ and everything has been fine up until then, it keeps saying I'm in a state I've never even been to before and I can't get it to change, yesterday when I was on mobile network it was fine and now that solution isn't working at all. is there any help I can get?

Legacy S PhonesIn your weather app settings, did local weather somehow get turned off? When you open a shopping app or website, is your location correct? Perhaps the location services needs calibrating. Download another weather app and see if the location is correct. Go to The Weather Channel website and see if your location is correct. You can also try clearing the app cache and data.
I specifically do not like and do not use the Samsung weather app because of its inability to set a location manually and add other locations so you can see the weather in those locations. But, it should still know where you are, unless you turned off location services

Legacy S Phonesso I don't even have the local weather as an option, I forced reset, cleared all data (and the cache) uninstalled and reinstalled the app to no success, I haven't had any issue till recently. maybe it is just time to upgrade from the s10

Legacy S PhonesWell, the S10 is still on Android 13 and OneUI 5.1, is it not? No longer getting any updates including security. Sooner or later, other apps will stop working with it. So, likely its time to consider and upgrade. But, as I said. There are also other weather apps, so you might have better luck with one of them. There's The Weather Channel app (the app that informs Samsung weather), Weather Bug, Accuweather, Transparent clock and weather...etc. Search the Play store.

Legacy S PhonesTry tapping the search on the lower right. When the map comes up, find your location and tap "add". Then when it's added return to the front page and tap the menu on the bottom left. If the location you added is not at the top of the list, long press the erroneous location and delete it. See if that works.
