Hi Community,

Have a great day!

I am Yamaris Johnson. I am a game lover. I am currently very much confused to purchasing gaming monitor  or TV.

To provide some background,& when it comes to choosing between a 4K TV and a 4K gaming monitor, it largely depends on your personal preferences and needs. Here are some factors to consider:

Size: If you prefer a larger display, a 4K TV may be the better choice. TVs typically come in larger sizes, while monitors tend to be smaller. However, there are some larger 4K monitors available.

Refresh Rate: Gaming monitors often have a higher refresh rate than TVs, which can result in smoother gameplay. If you're into fast-paced games, a gaming monitor may be the better option.

Input Lag: Gaming monitors typically have lower input lag compared to TVs. Input lag refers to the delay between when you press a button and when the action is reflected on the screen. If you're looking for a responsive gaming experience, a monitor may be the better choice.

Picture Quality: While both TVs and monitors offer 4K resolution, some high-end gaming monitors can have better color accuracy, contrast, and brightness than even the best 4K TVs. However, this can come at a higher cost.

Price: 4K gaming monitors tend to be more expensive than 4K TVs of similar size and resolution. If you're on a budget, a TV may be the better option.

I have searched some monitor and tv as well.

Can anyone suggest which is the better choice?

Thank you for your time.

Thanks

Yamaris

There's really no better choice, it just all depends on what your needs are. If your priority is heavily towards gaming, then the monitor with a high refresh rate is the better option. If you just casual game and don't care about needing certain features like response time and high refresh rate then the TV is just fine.
