I have been running this drive in a Dell Latitude 7420 machine since October of 2018. Recently, the dell software keeps telling me that my SSD drive is failing. I have the samsung magician installed and it's not showing any signs of failure.

Errors reported by Dell are:

  • Linear Read Test - WSD02-1W9
  • Random Seek Test - WSD03-RQT

Performance specs are:

  • 24.4TB written total
  • seq read 3047
  • seq write 1322
  • iops read 129150
  • iops write 117431.

This computer is also running the latest nvm driver 3.3.0.2003

Any thoughts / reasons to be concerned?

Thanks!

You may  want to consider removing and reseating the drive in its'  connector to renew the electromechanical mating surfaces.  Dell has a service manual available online to help with this.

With a TBW of 1200TB you are far from wearing it out.
