Monitors and MemoryRecently purchased a 37" ViewFinity S8 (S80UD) 4K UHD HDR10 High Resolution Monitor and am having difficulty getting it set up to not change color on scrolling. I installed the recent update using USB but that did not help.
My OS is Manjaro Linux KDE. I'm using an Insignia brand DP 1.2 Ultra HD cable (6ft; up to 8K @ 60Hz). Running X11 but issues is the same with Wayland windowing system. The machine is an HP Elitedesk 800 and the graphics is the integrated HD 630. Use it to work, no game playing.
On this same OS, I was using a Samsung monitor (1920 by 1080) a bit smaller and about 7 years old and did not notice this at all. The cable was HDMI but that couldn't handle 60 Hz on this new monitor.
I have the scaling set to 200% in the OS but the issue remains when set to 100%.
When the response time is changed from fast to faster (using the monitor's menu settings), black text has a red (fast) shadow or a lime green (faster) shadow. On standard response time, the shadow is black. Blue headings turn a purple color upon scrolling.
I tried adjusting Picture Mode and setting response time to Standard, and there is variation in the results; but I haven't found a way to get it to look "normal" like my previous Samsung monitor.
Any idea of what I can do to improve this? Thank you.

Monitors and MemoryHello there Gary3927, and Welcome to our Samsung Community.
We are sorry to hear about the display/ color changing concern and would like to assist you with this matter. To start, we recommend performing a picture test by following these steps: Settings> All Settings> Support> Device Care> Self Diagnosis> Picture Test> Select OK to proceed with Picture Test.
Please Note: If the issue is intermittent or does not show in the picture test, we advise contacting a technician to service the TV as it may still be a hardware fault. You can request the service via our Repair service link https://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/ or Private Message any moderator by selecting and clicking on the chat option with your full model and serial number. If you're still within the return/ exchange period with the retailer you can also seek that option as well, by contacting their customer support directly.

Monitors and MemoryThank you for responding to my question. I just tried the Picture Test again (tried it before posting also) and when the test is performed it says to carefully watch the screen for the next five seconds, and then the screen turns to a set of maybe ten vertical bars of different colors. So, I don't see what I'm supposed to carefully watch there.
I bought two of these monitors at the same time and they are connected to two different machines (both running the same OS) and behave similarly. I hope that means it would be unlikely that both have a hardware fault. However, one machine has the integrated UD 630 graphics card and the other has an NVIDIA something that is supposed to be better.
I tried adjusting the Picture Mode and that does vary the view but does not fix the issue. Most of the modes I don't understand because they appear to be for different games and I don't play games, just use the machines for work. Original mode, standard response time appear to minimize the issue but does remove it.
Thank you.
