Dark vertical line appears on some backgrounds

I have a G5 monitor that is about a year and a half old. Today a dark vertical line appeared on the left side of the screen. It seems to only be very apparent on dark grey backgrounds, it cant be seen on light backgrounds or on a black screen. It also appears different when i cycle through the different picture options. If I turn on the Eye Saver Mode it seems to disappear almost entirely.

The most likely solution is just updating your graphics card

1. Just go to the official website of the manufacturer of your computer’s graphics card.

2. Navigate to the download or support page to get the latest driver.

3.Install the driver for your desktop or laptop and restart the computer to see if you still see the vertical lines.

I have the latest drivers, this also happens on another pc I have.

You should still have a warranty, so just put it to service...

You said it is only 1,5 years old, you should still have half year of waranty...or in US you don't have 2 years waranty by law like we have in EU?!!
