Monitors and MemoryI just bought the LS49CG954SNXZA monitor. All the smart features are really aggravating. I just want a monitor, but this is constantly popping up with stuff. I want it to leave me alone and just be a monitor. How do I turn all this off?

Monitors and MemoryWhat Smart features could a monitor possibly have? Really, all a monitor needs to be able to to is display things. Does it not have a manual, app or control panel for settings?

Monitors and Memoryexactly, but no, this has TV (netflix, disney+, etc) I mean I just wanted to turn it on once I unboxed it, but I had to set up accounts and what not. Now I constantly am bombarded with messages and menus. Really irritating me. I'm really sad as this monitor is beautiful, but I am considering returning it.

Monitors and MemoryWell, I was just out shopping and saw some lovely Samsung monitors that were just monitors, so if you really do not want a TV, you may as well return it while you can and pick something else.

Monitors and MemoryI realize that (used to be on CD--just as annoying, give me a booklet any day.), but I'm still wondering what kind of smart features a monitor would have. Maybe I'm unimaginative, but I can't conceive of what they could add, or why any would be necessary but, then, I'm still using a 13 year old hi-rez dumb monitor that only displays what it's connected to.

Monitors and MemoryRead manual and chatted with tech support. No way to disable smart features that they could tell me.
