I’m trying to confirm which QD-OLED generation the Samsung LS34DG850SUXEN (34-inch Odyssey OLED G8 or G85SD) actually uses.
Some people and even Samsung support have said it’s a Gen 3 QD-OLED panel, but others claim it’s still the original Gen 1 panel from the older G8 OLED, just with a matte coating, updated ports, and maybe minor firmware tweaks.
Can anyone from Samsung or someone with verified teardown or panel information confirm whether the LS34DG850SUXEN truly uses a Gen 1, Gen 2, or Gen 3 QD-OLED panel?
