Hi!

I have G9 Odyssey @ 240 hz, I'm experiecing dimmed interlacing issues, scan lines and flickering.

It's been talked about a lot, apparently a person on reddit mentioned it can be fixed with a firmware update.  Post: https://www.reddit.com/r/ultrawidemasterrace/comments/jej7qq/samsung_odyssey_g9_dimming_and_flickeri...

It's affecting all G9 monitors, even G9 Neo (the latest one). This is insanely upsetting regarding this issue as G9 odyssey is my favorite monitor in terms of most other things except the few huge issues.

It's apparently called pixel walking, you can test it for yourself here. http://www.lagom.nl/lcd-test/inversion.php#invpattern

I can confirm I have this issue as well. It is not an issue in games, but it is a constant issue in Windows. The only fix is to set the refresh rate to 60hz. Anything above 60, and I get what appears to be interlaced lines on a dimmed screen. All of my research has led me to believe this is infact pixel walking like the reddit post you linked suggested.

That this is showing up on the newer neo monitor is disheartening. I thought they'd taken great care to resolve the initial problems that the G9 had (ghosting, light bleed, overheating), just to see that this issue that has been present in all of them is still here.  That said, maybe they'll finally find this issue in the newer monitors and give us a fix for the older monitors as well? Here's hoping.

I too have this issue and all support seems to do is close topics that bring it up, it can 100% be solved with a firmware update because enabling PIP mode completely eliminates the lines.
