I have 2 CF390 24 inch curved monitors - one bought last year and one bought yesterday. The settings in the menu are identical but the blacks and the text are different between the two. The "older" one is brighter and the blacks are less black and the text is a bit sharper. Ive gone through each setting in the built in menu and they are exactly the same. Any ideas as to why its displaying things differently?
Its almost like the new one is "warmer" than the old one.
This is totally normal, the device itself may be the same but the panels will tell a different story. Many panels are manufactured in different facilities using different materials/parts and sometimes, there will be settle differences in the clarify and quality between different panels depending on where each panel was manufactured.
To avoid this (if you're planning on buying multiples), it's best you buy them all at once in the exact same order because you'd have a higher chance of getting products from the exact same batch with similar quality vs buying the same products but at different times which 9 times out 10, probably won't be from the same batch.
