My setup: I have: - 2 computers attached to it - one via HDMI, the other via DisplayPort. - both work with win11 system
1) The monitor on-screen menu doesn't have the priority over computer signals - it gets constantly interrupted - for example - I switch off one computer (by pressing Power -> Shut Down on Win11) and i click the button to switch the active output - my hovering gets always interrupted
2) signals between one win11 computer and monitor input interfere with the other connection - the other Windows system gets notifications, rearranges windows, the connection disappears etc. 😕
I would expect the monitor software work independently and those 2 lines were treated separately and work independently.
I would consider using a monitor splitter optimized for your device. I haven't had a lot of experience using to computers on the same monitor but I've heard that monitor splitters usually fix up issues like this. I know buying something else when you have a product that should work is not ideal but it's the best I can offer. Hopefully, someone else sees this post and can help you more.
