I recently purchased a Samsung curved monitor model LC27T55OFD, which I planned to connect to my MacBook Pro. I used a HDMI cable along with an apple multi adapter connecter to connect it all. When I turn on the Samsung monitor nothing appears on the screen and it remains black. I've tried multiple time to get it to work but I have not been able to make any progress. I've also tried connecting a VGA cable to the monitor then connecting the to a VGA to HDMI adapter which I then connected to the apple multi adapter, which also didn't work.

Please help me.

There is usually a power button,  I had 2 samsungs, one power button was on the back of the monitor and one was on the bottom center.

I suggest a Google search for connecting an HDMI monitor to the Macbook Pro.

Purchasing a monitor with a type C USB would have been much easier.
