Notebook 9 Pro 13.3 display problems

My notebook 9 pro will be three years old in January 2021. 6 months ago the display started having problems after bootup. The display, over time,  is taking longer to display the screen's content. It starts at the top and slowly moves toward the bottom. This could take several minutes to complete. When the notebook is in constant use everything works fine unless the screen goes blank after a timeout to save battery.  When this occurs the problem starts all over again. When the problem first manifested I noticed it went away completely after the notebook warmed up but now it's a constant issue. Is this a hardware problem?
