Monitors and MemoryI have an Odyssey Ark 55" monitor and am running Windows 11. The monitor is no longer playing audio through Windows. The audio still works in the Samsung apps. I've confirmed that it is still set as the audio device, and have walked through the Windows troubleshooter but still - no sound. Everything worked up until last week.
The Ark is connected via HDMI to my Nvidia GeForce 3090 GPU.

Monitors and MemoryDid you somehow enable Dolby Atmos for Home Theater? If so, it doesn't work on this monitor because they blatantly lied and falsely advertised a feature that doesn't work - enabling this disables all audio

Monitors and MemorySo I learned that if you click the post link in your email, it won't warn you that you're not logged in until you click submit, and then it deletes your entire post. So that's fun. Oh and I love the error that invalid HTML was found in the message body and because of that, I can't submit until I hunt down and remove the trailing space in one of my paragraphs. It's like they just don't want people posting.
I didn't enable Atmos or any other enhancements. And yeah if we listed everything Samsung promised but didn't deliver on this monitor we'd have a pretty sizable post. But anyways...
My PC died and I'm now on a laptop, hooked to the monitor. I had similar behavior where I had to set the soundbar as the output manually. The monitor wouldn't adjust the volume and after a little while it would revert to the internal speakers. Since it's a Sonos soundbar I could check the app and confirm that it was set to TV as an input. It wasn't, and when I tried setting TV, it said that some other home theater device was interfering with this setting. I had two other HDMI cables plugged into the Samsung One Connect box that weren't connected to anything else. Unplugging the cables let me set the Sonos to TV and the problem hasn't returned. With any luck my main PC will be back up and running today and I can test with that.
