Hi there,
After a year of use, the SmartTV bloat on this professional monitor is a constant frustration. I honestly didn’t think it would matter but it’s so bad, I’m actively looking for an alternative - such a pointless waste of time and money sorry!
Question
Before I sell it, is there any way to remove the SmartTV so the OS runs a like a normal professional display: one-click access to all controls on a single overlay?
Any help much appreciated.
Cheers, Ben

Have noticed multiple posts online so for anyone else struggling with this, try a third-party mac app called BetterDisplay...
It makes the display usable for professional use as you can set brightness and contrast from within MacOS, as well as exposing deeper controls for setup and calibration.
Have been testing for two days and so far it's worked flawlessly. Hope that helps someone, YMMV. Cheers
