Just bought brand new laptop Samsung Galaxy Book3 Ultra. Built-in SSD super slow.

Can't find firmware update... On Samsung official website there is no update for this model...

The PM9A1 is an OEM class drive with less performance and support than its' Consumer grade cousins like the 980 Pro.

Replace it with a 2TB 980 Pro for its' increased cache size and hope for the best.

It is standard procedure here to replace all OEM drives with top-end models to max out performance and storage space as soon as the new gaming laptops arrive in the house.  Just a little part of being spoiled...

The OEM drives reside in a cupboard as clone sources until their original computer/laptop is replaced at which time they are converted to dumpster food.
