So on boot up my, Samsung 27" WQHD 144Hz Curved Gaming Monitor LC27JG50QQUXEN has horrible horizontal artifacts. This has just started to occur outside of the warranty from the company I purchased it from. However, it seems this is a known issue from the research i have done online is there a fix?
it's connected to my pc via display port connector - connected to a MSI RTX 3070
any help appreciated,
Same issue with my C27HG70 (LC27HG70QQUXEN) and of course it started 2 weeks outside of my 2-year warranty. It looks fairly common with these Samsung QLED monitors as there are plenty of posts. My retailer won’t help without a qualified technicians report but a) I don’t know where to find one locally in these times of pandemic and b) I don’t want to pay for a report when its a clear fault that should not have happened. Perhaps @samsung (UK) would be kind enough to offer a solution, repair, partial refund as this is a well reported issue and should not be happening to a <2.5 year old high end monitor.
Other threads it has been reported in but they have been closed. They dont want this topic being discussed it seems:
