Monitors and MemoryI purchased a brand new MZ-75E500B/AM from BestBuy. Installed it into an Asus M51AD-B08 desktop. The SSD has the latest firmware. I have the latest Intel RST drivers installed. I have all of the latest system drivers installed. BIOS has AHCI enabled and Hot Plug Enabled. Im on Windows 10 Creators Update.
Magician 4.9.7 authenticates the drive as genuine and shows the drive fully supported. However, Magician 5 shows the serial, the name of the drive, AHCI enabled, Trim Enabled, Sata 6.0 interface, but the top portion shows "This drive is not supported". I'm at a loss as to why? Can anyone help me out? Thanks!

Monitors and MemoryYes, if the new drive shows a bad sector during cloning that's a bad drive and needs to be returned to the point of purchase as soon as possible. But before you do, make sure the bad sectors are on the new drive, not the old one.

Monitors and MemoryGenerally speaking, there are many factors that may lead to Samsung Magician failed on SSD. In a nutshell, the following reasons could be one of the elements.
▸Samsung Magician is not the latest version released.
▸Your Samsung SSD such as 850 EVO does not have the newest firmware.
▸Your computer runs Windows 10 with a GPT formatted partition table. The Secure Erase feature does not support GPT disk.
▸Your SSD TCG Opal/Encrypted Drive feature is enabled.
If you have taken the corresponding measures and the problem is still there, you can try an alternative to Samsung Magician: the AOMEI Partition Assistant software.
