Today i found out that my ssd drive doesn't work anymore, windows 10 doesn't recognize it anymore, should i consider it as died or i can do anything with it? actually bios recognizes drive and making self-test successfully.

i've bought this drive about year ago and was using gently.

any suggestions?

Hello user6chbBzC4Ol,

Have you tried having your computer boot to a windows installation flash drive or DVD? The windows installer may be able to see the SSD, if your BIOS sees it. If the drive is seen in the windows installer, then you can try reinstalling a new copy of windows onto the SSD. This might get your system back up and running.

@Mem, the way I read the first post the 970 is not the OS drive but a secondary data drive.

No need to install Windows on it.

Can you see the  drive in Device Manager or Computer Management/Drive Management?
