I had to try to update like 5-10 times before it worked now. Just said failed each time.

I like to know after i update to the new firmware, my 980 pro is slow on boot of the windows is taking 5 or minute to load and now is stack for 30 mints so far. Need same explanation and help.

Yikes! I'm glad I read your post. I'm not real happy with either of my 980's as it is and was hoping this would revive them....but perhaps this thing is still not fully baked yet. I'll wait
