As subject indicates - any programs running on the G9 screen when shutting off the G9 are moved to other monitor. Why? Is there a way to stop this? If I am running a game and I need to idle for 10 minutes and the screen G9 screen blanks - I come back to my game being moved to another smaller monitor. I then have to change the game to windowed mode and move it back.
This happens to any app running on the G9 screen. It's like the G9 is telling the video card ( 2080 ) that the G9 is no longer connected to the video card and then Windows 10 removes it thinking there is no longer a monitor there.
The G9 is not the only monitor with this issue. I have an LU32J590UQNXZA (32" 4K Samsung Display) that does the exact same thing and yeah, I have not found a way to fix that as well.
