I have 2 S27A60U monitors in a daisy chain and up until last week it has been working fine.
the ethernet from my wall goes into monitor 1. monitor 1 sends a usb-c to my laptop providing power and lan internet connection. monitor 1 also sends a DP out to monitor 2 dp in.
However as of the last couple of weeks the monitor is not sending the lan connection to my laptop and as such, my laptop is switching to wifi.
It's not the ethernet or usb-c cables (tested both), and its not the laptop.
Interestingly, when I change monitor 1 from usb type-C (MST) to usb type-c (SST), the laptop all of a sudden recognized the lan Ethernet.
The problem with that however is with SST, my 2nd monitor now just replicates the first monitor, rather than extending the desktop through the laptop and both monitors.
Anyone able to help?? Thanks!!
