Samsung Magician Failed to update firmware on all drives.

I am currently trying to update my Samsung SSD 990 Pro with Heatsink 2TB and two Samsung SSD 990 PRO 2TBs. They are installed directly to my board, an Asus Maximus Hero Z790. Is there some kind of log file or anyway to troubleshoot this issue? My drives are not in RAID mode.

Fix was to disable VMD in BIOS and update firmware via bootable iso. Re enable VMD afterwards and everything is good to go. Thank you to shockey0710 (Halo) for the suggestion and guidance.
