I own both a 34" and 49" Samsung widescreen and ultra widescreen monitors. I love the look and functionality of the stands especially being able to raise, lower and swivel them. The problem is the massive legs that stretch out over my desk and take up so much room. Why couldn't Samsung develop and sell a desk mount clamp that would attach to the back of my desk (the same way other 3rd party monitor arms do) and would replace the "V" shaped legs?? The existing tower could attach to this clamp the same way it currently attaches to the legs. This would free up lots of valuable desk space and still allow us to raise, lower and swivel the monitor without having to use one of those ugly previously mentioned monitor arms.
