I saw another similar post here but I couldn't post because they were marked as solved. I have new Oddyssey G7 NEO 43". I mostly just want it to be a computer monitor only. I wan't it to power on to the computer source when the PC wakes from sleep. Currently I am having to turn on the monitor with the power button on the remote. Can it work just like my dumb monitor I had connected to my PC previously. Hope this makes sens. thanks,

I have noticed that if the wifi connection is active on the monitor, it always comes up from standby mode when I wake up my pc or turn it on. Try it and report back what you experience.
This issue is very annoying because I am not willing to provide a permanent wifi connection for the monitor.
Please advise on how to make it work properly or fix the problem.
I have the latest version of the software (1602) and have to press Power On button on remote every time my pc waking up from sleep. What a , what a lack of support. Regret buying anything from Samsung. @raytrace enabled wifi is not helping. Even with wifi connection I have to press Power On button on the remote.
Yeah that was probably my post...and I tried to post because the mod had no idea what I was talking about and "solved" it rendering the thread locked. I don't think it's possible right now for it to wake up when you turn on your PC...maybe in a future update. They actually updated the monitor so you can get audio from the USB which was a big deal to me having a set of Bose desktop speakers AND the Steelseries Nova Pro Wireless headset which are both USB audio. A mod said it would never have that capability, but that was a lie, apparently.
