Samsung Odyssey G8 G80SD White Flashing

When playing games on this monitor, occasionally it will flicker white like below while using an Nvidia RTX 5090, this doesn't happen on another monitor I have.

Does anyone know what causes this or a fix?

Hello! Thank you for reaching out! Does this occur when using another device, such as a console or another PC, if possible? Also, are you using a DisplayPort cable to an HDMI cable?

I also have the same problem while using my 5090 connected to my G80SD.

I am using the display port cable that came with the monitor

It happens on different pc also

I only experience this problem using Display Port, too. It happens on any display cable, too. It was absolutely an annoying issue that encouraged me away from DP.

I have similar problem on rtx 3070 with dp cable. Tried another cable and the same. It is related to black screen issue reported also for g8 oled...

Looks like dp 1.4 issue
