I have a Samsung Odyssey G9, Model # LC49G95TSSNXZA.  It is running 1010.2 firmware. I purchased it November 2020. I have it connected to an Nvidia RTX 3090 FE.

I have had a super annoying issue with my monitor black screening intermittently. The blue light goes off on the monitor which indicates signal loss. I have tried a ton of things to resolve this issue. The main thing that seems to help is completely disconnecting the monitor overnight and reconnecting it in the morning. Also disabling adaptive sync helps as well, but I don't want to do that when the monitor should support it.

Things I have tried:

-Latest GPU drivers

-Forced GPU scaling

-120Hz with and without Adaptive Sync.

-240Hz with Adaptive Sync. (Makes it happen more frequently)

-Use 8 bit color resolution

-Turning timer off in the monitor

-Tried a GTX 1080 with adaptive sync. Signal loss happens with that as well.

Try making sure you have a cable that supports the 3090 and 240 hz or make sure cable isn't faulty or update graphics and other drivers.

Thanks for the tip. I purchased an iVANKY DisplayPort 1.4 Cable 6.6ft last December and that did not make any difference in the problem. Will check to see if there is a new VBios for the RTX 3090 FE I can try.
