Greetings. I’m interested in not only getting an Odyssey Neo G9 57" monitor but also getting the right graphics card in order to make the most of its graphics capabilities, complete with its 240MHz refresh rate.

I’m already aware that that refresh rate can only be achieved through a DisplayPort 2.1 (DP2.1) connection. What graphics card could provide that as well as ensure that the monitor can consistently provide the best displays?

In addition, I am also looking for a kvm switch in order to connect my computer to both that monitor and an Asus ProArt monitor in which I already have, using the switch to, well, switch from using one monitor to the other. However, I have yet to find a switch which is DP2.1 compatible. Still, any suggestions?

As an alternative, I’m considering getting a DP1.4 or HDMI2.1 kvm switch. In conjunction with it, I’m wondering if there’s any kind of adapter, converter, extender, etc., which would allow me to maintain a consistent DP2.1 connection with the Samsung monitor.

The G9 uses Freesync Premium Pro so an AMD series RX 9070 XT GPU will be an excellent match.

With the 9070 you don't need a kvm switch as the GPU has 3 DP 2.1a ports.

I personally run an Asus W790 PCIE Gen 5 workstation on Win 11 with the XFX Mercury RX 9070 XT Magnetic Air (Best Air Cooling solution for the 9070)  waiting for someone to make a waterblock for it.

I have an Ultrawide and a 4K monitor plugged into it.  I either turn one or the other off to switch main display or just use the Display setting in Win 11 to switch.  Works great and I don't suffer the NVIDIA Blinkies.
