I have two of these cards, both purchased at different times from Amazon, formatted to FAT32 for use in a Digital audio player (DAP).

The first card performs exactly as expected, consistently.

The second card is recognized in my Dell Vostro Windows 7 laptop, although there is a slight lag in recognizing the device.  I can copy files to the device in this mode.

When I transfer the card to my DAP and connect the DAP to the laptop via USB the card is *eventually* recognized in Windows Explorer and the files previously copied to it appear.

However, when I disconnect the DAP from the laptop and power on the DAP to use it to play music the card is *not* recognized.

Can the card be repaired or do I have to buy another card? Or . . . ?

thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Help, please.

Be prepared to buy a new one.  That being said, this is a Samsung forum not Sandisk.

Good luck
