Monitors and MemoryHi,
is it possible to use USB-C hub in the monitor when the input isn't USB-C? My PC doesn't support video via USB-C so i use standard HDMI port. But I also would like to connect the USB-C cable to my pc anyway and use second USB-C port in the monitor to connect accessories, but that doesn't work. If that's not currently possible then this is a feature request.

Monitors and MemorySamsung's specs for the G8 G81SF do not list a Type C port. They list a type B port for the PC connection to enable the type A ports on the monitor.

Monitors and MemoryOkay, but what is your point here? I don't see anything helpful right there, or anything related with my first message.

Monitors and MemoryMy PC has a USB 3.2 Gen 2 10Gbps port, but without DisplayPort ALT mode, also I'm using the 40Gbps USB-C cable so that's also not an issue. The problem is that the second USB-C port (the one for USB devices such as a keyboard or mouse) doesn't work when the first USB-C is not a source input which can't be in my case because I don't have the previously mentioned ALT mode. I'm just curious why it cannot work when the input is HDMI?
