Why hasn't there been hardware revisions to the USB sticks? Only a maximum 256GB. Samsung had always been pushing the limits but now they're becoming stagnant than ever.
There has been hardware revisions to USB sticks. With the capacity increase to 500 GB and beyond they are now referred to as USB SSD's. Case size has increased to accomodate more storage space and controller electronics while being plugged in via a short USB cable which relieves stress on the USB port from oversized devices.
