I purchased a Samsung 256GB FIT Plus USB 3.1 Flash Drive from Newegg.com and have been using it to make many smaller transfers without problems. However, when using it today, it would not save the file transfer I was making of 130 Gb saying there was not enough space. After double checking everything, it has become clear that this is only a 32 Gb drive! The drive is clearly marked as 256 Gb USB 3.1 yet the drive properties indicate only a 32 Gb drive. I am having trouble locating information on what I need to do to get this drive replaced under warranty. It is past the Newegg 30 day return window.

This frequently happens when you reformat the drive as FAT32. Search on the internet and you will find many solutions on how to reformat it properly. https://forums.sandisk.com/t5/All-SanDisk-USB-Flash-Drives/SanDisk-Ultra-128GB/td-p/368006
I figured it out shortly after posting this question. I had used the drive to install Windows 10 via the media creation tool and it had created a partition that left only 32 Gb available and the rest was unavailable. Deleted the partition and created a new volume for the unallocated space and all is well. Thanks.
