Use SA300 Monitor in Windows 10

I have a LS19A300BS Monitor (SyncMasterSA300 Series) from 2011 and want  to use it with my Windows 10 x64 Laptop. I installed the firmware available at Samsung Download Center but the monitor just displays whole plain colors (first red, then green, then blue and so). I tried upgrading the firware via Firmware Upgrader from Samsung and got no success, but just a message: "There is no monitor to upgrade. Your monitor already has the latest version or does not need to be upgraded, so it does  not require upgrade".

Apparently this happens because the monitor SA300 is no longer compatible with Windows 10 even though this one is in 100% perfect condition. Please, does anybody have ideas how to install the firware correctly in order to use this monitor in Win10? Thank you very much for helping me!

Re: Use SA300 Monitor in Windows 10

Your monitor manual indicates a max resolution of 1366x768 @60hz via a DVI cable.

Does the laptop supply that?

The monitor is obsolete in today's display environment.
