The G9 49" should only be a regular computer monitor. I don't see anything in the specs that says it has smart features. Do you have the complete model number.  Since they are the G91F - G95C - G95SD - G91SD - G95SC - G95SD

My Samsung has a smart hub and is co figured with the ability to watch any TV selections

The G91SD is monitor only.  The G95 series are Smart TVs with a monitor function included as a secondary function.
