You can download the Dual Camera created by Samsung from Galaxy Apps as well, but it doesn't appear in the camera app if you updated to pie.
Very stupid from Samsung to remove this feature. I don't see a reason for this act.
Buy NOKIA 6.1 instead if you need dual camera in your mobile..Note 9 is sucked. I have my Note 4 with dual camera amazing. then i upgraded my phone to Note 9 expecting to have tvis dual camera with more feature, but failed. I am very disappointed.
Today my Samsung S8 has been updated to Andriod Pie. The Samsung camera 'dual camera' feature apprears to have been removed from the camera app. This is very suprising, as the new operating system is supposed to offer users more flexibility in terms of multiple camera options.
Does anyone understand why Samsung have done this?
I have also tried downloading the 'DuoVision' app that is mentioned in this thread, however the dual camera feature delivers a message that 'unfortunaly the device does not support this feature'.
Does anyone know how to create a live pitcure-in-pictue effect (or video-in-video effect) on any Samsung phone running Android Pie?
This feature has been removed with a software update. I apologize for the inconvenience. Galaxy Note 9 has the S9 Plus' cameras but adds scene optimizations. The Note 9 has the same cameras as the S9 Plus, which includes a nifty dual-aperture that can open or close to change the amount of light the camera gets.
