The button for multi-screen isnt there..

How do we do it now?

Also, when im in game(horizontal),  hitting the volume button BEFORE

Would allow me to slide it where I wanted... now I have to press the volume BUTTON to move it? No more touch slide?

These changes are NOT what I bought... someone help plz

Multi Screen.  open Navigation bar.  See all the open apps sitting there.  Click the icon on the top of the card.  Select Open in Split screen view.  Select another app, click on it.  Split Screen view.

Volume slider on horizontal Videos.  I slid my thumb up on the RIGHT side of the screen.  LEFT side slide is brightness control.

At least, that how it works on my Note 9

Thanks... within videos made on the note, it works.( thumbs) but ANYTHING outside of it doesn't.  Netflix,  hulu, YouTube, games etc.   In portrait view, you used to be able to hit the volume button 1x, then simply touch the spot on the slider line where you wanted your volume... you now are forced to hit the button.

I hate this way of accessing multi window.

Is there any other way to do it like the old way which was holding the recent button down. If not is there a way to bring that way back

Check out Samsung's Good Lock app in the Galaxy Store if you don't like some of One UI's changes. It's a fantastic, first-party customization app with various plugins so you only need to download what you want to change.

I used the app you suggested. Although i wish Samsung could just simply add the ability to hold onto the multi task button to access split view
