I have experienced this since the day I got the phone! I have complaint so many times even on this community page but no update what so ever. Samsung needs to step up their game as we pay a $1K for this phone.
Totally agree. The "interviewers" toted this Note 9 camera as the best. They must have been paid. Try to make a video and then send it to someone via Text. Garbled video. Shame. No different than the Note 8 I still have. My Note 4 was perfect. I might go back to it. Now, the Note 9 camera is totally trash. Lags on picture and video. I have the 8 gig ram model for $1350. What the heck Samsung? Last Samsung phone; ever.
This has been widely reported by people. The Camera would lag randomly for 2-3 seconds rendering taking pictures/video impossible.
Are there any fix coming soon?

128GB version, have tried using both Stock and Nova Launcher, pics saved to internal memory. Had constant and horrible lag / freezing (and camera error message) making the camera unusable at times, especially action shots.
Switching the device to WQHD+ resolution seems to have helped and for the last day or so, no lag.
Going to continue testing over the weekend, but this definitely seems like a software issue. Hopefully a solution is found soon. Missed some pretty unique photos of my kids yesterday because of the freezing.
Same darn problem day 1 when I got this phone love it but this is rediculous for the price.
@samsung don't need "model make" etc we are under the note 9 feed. If many people are complaining it's a software.
The solution is to get on it and fix it. Not bank on the fact that many will keep upgrading.
At the very least, post what you're doing to fix this .

The information requested is a vital part in finding out if the development team can implement a software update as a fix.
