Bud, before you speak use some of those brain cells. My phone stays in the 90f most the day and around 6am it hits 107f and starts shutting down applications. I have ran into this at least 3 times now and believe me it gets really hot, maybe not burn me but uncomfortable enough to lay it down away from everything and see if it explodes.
Even if this has some new way of cooling, my phone gets down to 70f rarely, and 90 is what I see on normal use. Heck Samsung should have me BETA test their phones! I am a heavy user and this kind of freaks me out, especially when I paid $1300!
Same thing. It got so hot I had to drop it when I booted up the phone for the first time.
It has become warm a few times since then but nothing as bad as first turning on the phone from the box.
I have a problem with my Note 9 when I am taking pictures. It gets very hot and has shut down the camera app and one time went completely black. This is the only time I notice it getting hot. Is there a setting I have wrong that won't work properly if the camera is on a long time?
Hey there, I edited and accepted a current accepted solution for everyone. Mind following the steps listed there so we can escalate this for you?
This has happened 3 times today to me too! I shut it down - left it 10 min in front of cold air conditioner - but after I started again and started the camera it got really hot again on the left side about 2 fingers down from the Bixby button and it shut down the cameras with a Warning notice - too hot to take photos!! "Please wait for phone to cool down"
Annoying as I need to take pictures right now!!! What's going on?? 🤔
