Note 9 Randomly crashes

Ever since the Android Q update my phone crashes, sometime it just freezes up for a minute, sometimes it completely reboots. It never happens at the same menu, It also makes my SD card and SIM card unrecognized until I properly reboot my phone.

Does this occur when the device is in safe mode?

Re: Note 9 Randomly crashes

No problems with mine after a couple of reboots and updates of apps. They were reboots of my choosing and not crashes. Every major version installation seems to need a couple to sort things out.

Wipe your cache partition. I haven't had any issues after the update at all.

Re: Note 9 Randomly crashes

-Turn off the device.

-press and hold the volume up key and the Bixby key, then press and hold the volume key.

-when the android logo displays, release all three keys.

-an 'installing system update' message will show for 30-60 seconds before the android system recovery menu options appear.

-press the volume down key several times to highlight wipe cache partition.

-press power key to select.

-press the volume down key to highlight yes, then press the power key to select.

-when wipe cache partition is complete, reboot system now is highlighted.

-press the power key to reboot device.
